ABSTRACT

The Indian cinema “Bollywood” has its popularity all around the world and many of its products have been translated into many languages. Arabic is one of the languages that many Indian films, movies and series were translated to. Thus, they invade the Arab world and carried with them the Indian culture. They influenced a large number of people particularly in Yemen which is the focus of the current study. The current paper is an attempt to highlight the influence of the Indian series on the Yemeni people with special reference to the series of “The Warrior Queen of Jhansi “. It is directed by Director Swati Bhise . And was translated into Arabic The Warrior Queen of Jhansi traces the life of Rani Laxmibai, and her journey of becoming an icon for women all across the world. The director’s daughter, Devika Bhise, will be seen essaying the role of Rani Laxmibai..The paper will highlight the influence these series left on the Yemeni society and the image that it depicted about different aspects of the Indian society such as food address, weddings and different cultural activities.

ABSTRACT

The contributions of sustainability to architectural designs are steadily increasing in parallel with developments in technology. Although sustainability seems to be a new concept in today’s architecture, in reality, it is not. This is because, much of sustainable architectural design principles depend on references to vernacular architecture, and there are many examples found in different parts of the world to which architects can refer. When the world seeks for more sustainable buildings, it is acceptable to revisit the past in order to understand sustainable features of vernacular architecture. It is clear that vernacular architecture has a knowledge that matters to be studied and classified from a sustainability point of view. This work aims to demonstrate that vernacular architecture can contribute to improving sustainability in construction. In this sense, the paper evaluates specific vernacular housing in costal region of Kelshi in Maharashtra and their response to nature and ecology. In order to explain this response, field work was carried out and the vernacular architectural accumulation of the region was examined on site. The features of the examples have been identified and debated in today’s sustainable architectural concept. This work holistically evaluates this architectural manifestation, in the light of current knowledge, in order to find scientific justification for its knowledge to verify and promote its application in the future.

ABSTRACT

Language is the mirror of human life which describes the life of human. English language has become a global language because of its numerous functions and preferences over several other languages over the world. English has become the window to the world. English has become a medium for business and interactional purposes among other functions. English is playing a major role in every field such as education, art, medicine, engineering, and law, music etc. As the world is changing, there must be changes in language learning. But contemporary collide of globalization, the expanse of English and technological development have changed our learning and teaching English as a Lingua franca in a unique way. In every aspect of human life, Information Technology and Science are playing an essential role. Even in the field of education the technological developments have started a new page. Conventional methods of teaching are not showing vast impact on the learners. Technology has become a means for making the learners innovative and also became a source for motivating the learners towards learning.  The current paper highlighted that how the English language learned through ICT (Information and Communication Technology) in education. In education, computer technology has become so important that the government put ICT as one of the curriculum in education. The utilization of ICT in education has newly started to appeal the potential and important progress in language learning. It has become a chief issue in education world and has used from pre-school through to university that could facilitate students and teacher in teaching and learning process.

Globalization has been skilled by innumerable sections of multi-dimensional Indian society, their livelihood, employment, socio-cultural get-up-and-go counting their cultural and devout practices, health, education, women and poor and socially backward sections differently. According to one Anthropological Survey, come to of 4,635 communities are nowadays to be create in India out of which unreserved clannish communities are 732 in number. Tribals in India give to a big extent of cultural and ethnic diversity. The tribes, who assert been predominantly confined to hills and forests, grasp straight away hunted their interest into the regional and state-owned mainstream. The bang of Globalization on clannish communities is involved as they are the ones that evidently pessimistically exaggerated not individual in India but the complete over the world. In the given name of Development, the life, livelihood, civilization and environment of local group has brought under the hot-iron of Globalization. The ancestral method of existence is dictated by the rule of nature. Notwithstanding the detail that the constitution of India has decided countless safeguards to the ancestral communities, they pick up again to stay behind a large amount backward and discriminated groups in India.  Cases of dislocation of ancestral community in India control enlarged manifold. This thesis attempts to inspect the essential philosophy, evolutionary history of Globalization and its property on ancestral communities which promote attempts to prominence on a want to build up the elite policies and models to cater the differences between the Haves and Have-nots in the shadow of Globalization to begin the doctrine of judge of ruling and untreated acceptability to demonstrate the sunlit to individuals who are ceaselessly terrified in the darkness.

Green finance focuses in this pattern of business to protect and preserve environment. Green finance is considered as the financial backbone of green progressiveness which monitors air pollution in the environment. This monitor makes the earth better place for survival. This promotes green investments in renewable resources which in turn helps in attaining economic welfare and sustainable development. Green Finance focuses on ecological balance and emphasis on industries to preserve and protect nature. The green building program are the root to enhance our ecological balance.

ABSTRACT

Objective of the study were to find out the relationship between playing ability and motor fitness components of badminton players. For the purpose researcher selected 30 makes badminton players who had participated in intercollegiate competition of Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University Amravati. With the help of simple random sampling method. JCR test was constructed to the measure motor fitness component of players where as for measuring playing ability three judges test was constructed during the competition.  Test was based on the Hick’s Badminton playing ability test. Three items, a clear test, a smash test and a strategy test and overall performance was tested. Results of the study indicated a positive relationship between the motor fitness components and playing ability of badminton players where as in certain items in was found negligible.

The present paper is a detailed study of the unrealistic and supernatural elements in the play, Hayavadana by Girish Karnad. It also studies relationship in between love and reality in the life of Devdatta and Kapila. It also studies dissension between the couple. Girish Karnad has special interest as regards Man-Woman relationship in his plays. Karnad’s protagonists are persons for whom ‘aloneness’ sole is the only natural condition. There is also the influence of mythology in his plays. The readers find supernatural element in his works. It is the treasure worthy of securing. These protagonists are mainly men and women and sometimes supernatural beings too.. The present paper is a lucid attempt tois perceive the interrelationship between unrealistic and supernatural elements in the play, Hayavadana.

         आजच्या घडीला आपण ज्या राजकीय, सामाजिक आणि आर्थिक स्थितीतून पुढे जात आहोत त्या स्थितीचा विचार करता डॉ. बाबासाहेब आंबेडकर यांच्या 'लोकशाही' या संकल्पनेतील आशय आपण कसा गमावत आहोत, याचा सहज प्रत्यय येतो. डॉ. आंबेडकरांना या देशात राजकीय लोकशाहीतून सामाजिक व आर्थिक लोकशाहीची प्रस्थापना करावयाची होती. म्हणूनच ते आपल्या राजकीय लोकशाहीचे सामाजिक लोकशाहीत परिवर्तन व्हावे, यासाठी आग्रही होते. म्हणजेच लोकशाही प्रणालीतून त्यांना या देशातील लोकांच्या जीवनात सामाजिक व आर्थिक स्तरावर आमूलाग्र परिवर्तन घडवून आणायचे होते. केवळ निवडणुकीत लोकांना मताधिकार प्राप्त झाला म्हणून तेवढ्यानेच यशस्वी लोकशाही साकार होईल, असा भाबडा आशावाद त्यांच्या मनात कधीच नव्हता. कारण या देशात अगदी प्राचीन काळापासून जे एक सामाजिक वास्तव अस्तित्वात आहे ते लोकशाही तत्त्वांना अत्यंत मारक आहे याची त्यांना जाणीव होती. याच पार्श्वभूमीवर लोकशाहीचा विचार करताना त्यांनी लोकशाहीसंबंधीचे अत्यंत मूलभूत स्वरुपाचे चिंतन लोकांसमोर वेळोवेळी प्रकट केले आहे.

ABSTRACT

अरुण सांगोळे हे खऱ्या अर्थाने भावकवी आहेत. त्यांच्या 'एका गोरज घडीला' (2003) या काव्यसंग्रहात त्यांनी भावकविता, गीतरचना, अभंग, लावणी, ग़ज़ल, रुबाया इत्यादी वेगवेगळ्या काव्यप्रकारांतून लेखन केलेले आहे. परंतु भावकविता, गाणी, लावणी, अभंग, रुबाया यांच्या तुलनेत त्यांची 'ग़ज़ल' या काव्यप्रकारातील झेप  वाखाणण्याजोगी आहे. म्हणून अरुण सांगोळे यांच्या कवितेचा वेध घेताना आधी त्यांच्या गझलरचनेचा परामर्श घेऊ; आणि नंतर त्या-त्या अनुषंगाने उर्वरित काव्यलेखनाची चर्चा करू.
