Vocabulary is crucial to
English language teaching because without adequate vocabulary students cannot comprehend
or understand others or put across their own ideas. While it is possible to
convey something without grammar, but without vocabulary nothing can be
conveyed. It would not be wrong to say that lexis forms the heart of the
language.Teaching vocabulary enables students to develop their own personal
vocabulary and learning strategies. The purpose of this paper is to emphasize
the importance of vocabulary and analyzing many techniques employed by the
language teacher to teach his students.

Handloom sector plays a vital role in the
Indian economy. This industry helps in the creation of ample opportunities of
employment especially for the labour class. It helps in earning considerable
sum of foreign exchange to the country thus strengthening the national economy.
The handloom sector has developed a lot over a period of time. It is spread
throughout the country. The features of this sector vary across the country.
Indian textile industry is one of the leading industries of Indian economy and
has important place in industrial cluster of India. By keeping this, the
present study deals with the impact of the weavers’ welfare schemes on standard
of living of the handloom weavers in Erode District of Tamil Nadu. The findings
also indicated that the improve the
weavers’ standard of living.

Customer relationship management is a highly
crucial and sensitive assignment on the part of business organizations. A great
portion of customer relationship strategy fails to be implemented on the
pedestrian of wrong assumptions. For example CRM generally looks like an
offspring of pure technology , however not true. In order to let customer
relationship programs work efficiently and effectively, it is imperative to
consider another equally significant variable along with technology and that is
communication.

Indian environment has been deteriorated
remarkably in the past 50 years due to the rapid decline in natural resources
and a severe increase in pollution level. Reduction of forests, population
growth, vehicular productions, use of harmful chemicals and numerous other
detrimental human activities are essentially responsible for this tarnished
situation of environmental health in India. It is, in fact, representation
extensive economic loss to the nation and warrants severe attention of
policymakers, administrators, inventors and general public altogether to save the
environment and humanity and to arrange for generational justice. This paper
deals with the risk of environmental deprivation and recommends some possible
remedial actions for eco-conservation in India. Now it is essentially advisable
to become protector, producer and caretaker of natural resources and not the
predator, polluter and consumer of the earth.

In today’s 21st century
organization, employee retention is critical issue for the long-term success of
the business. Managers agree that retaining your best employees ensures
customer satisfaction, product sales, satisfied co-workers and reporting staff,
effective succession planning and deeply imbedded organizational knowledge and
learning employee retention matters. Organizational issues such as training
time and investment; lost knowledge; mourning, insecure co-workers and a costly
candidate search aside, failing to retain a key employee is costly. An
effective Employee Retention program is a systematic endeavor to create and
foster an environment that encourages employees to remain employed by having
sound policies & practices in place that address their various needs. The
researcher attempts to determine employee's retention at the Finolex
Industries.Ltd. This study is designed to explore the main retention factors
for Finolex Industries Ltd. employees. The researcher also made an attempt to
understand about Employee's satisfaction at Finolex Industries Ltd.

Recently video-enabled camera will be the
most pervasive type of sensor. Such cameras will enable continuous surveillance
through heterogeneous camera networks consisting of fixed camera systems
as well as cameras on mobile devices. The challenge in these networks is to
enable efficient video analytics: the ability to process videos cheaply
and quickly to enable searching for specific events or sequences of events. In
this paper, we discuss the design and implementation of Kestrel, a video
analytics system that tracks the path of vehicles across a heterogeneous camera
network. In Kestrel, fixed camera feeds are processed on the cloud, and mobile
devices are invoked only to resolve ambiguities in vehicle tracks.
Kestrel’s mobile device pipeline detects objects using a deep neural network,
extracts attributes using cheap visual features, and resolves path ambiguities
by careful association of vehicle visual descriptors, while using several
optimizations to conserve energy and reduce latency. Our evaluations show that
Kestrel can achieve precision and recall comparable to a fixed camera network
of the same size and topology.

Rural Development in general can be explained
as a action and initiatives which are being taken in order to improve the
standard of living of non-urban neighborhoods countryside and remote villages.
These communities have been exemplified with a low ratio of inhabitants to open
space. Agriculture activities are the backbone whereas economic activities
relate to the primary sector, production of food stuffs and raw materials.
Rural development actions mostly aims at the social and the economic
development of the rural population. Various programs have been initiated in
order to develop the rural area, the programs are initiated top to down, from
the local authorities to regional authorities, regional development agencies,
NGO’S to Government development agencies to International development
organizations. The chain somewhere missed the local villagers who are the real
backbone of development, they are the beneficiaries and also the component to
make the development- a success. There are various issues and approaches which are related with the
Rural development. The present research study tries to focus on the effects of
globalization in relevance with the Gandhian approach of Rural Development
