Bus transportation is considerably more essential in cities, and it also unites individuals from all backgrounds. As a result, having a functional transportation system is critical for every city, and it must be managed to address existing and future difficulties while also guaranteeing efficiency in operations and quality of service to fulfil the varying expectations of passengers from all segments. This study indicates a link between private bus services and customer happiness, demonstrating today's need for private bus terminals.

PLANNING SELECT COURSES IN ENGLISH FOR PROFESSIONAL STUDIES

The present paper offers a practical implication on planning and implementing of select English language related courses to the students of Professional Courses. English in this form comes under the scope of English for Specific Purposes, which is a significant segment in English teaching today. The learning outcome of the E.S.P. courses is to make the students capable of dealing with and deliver in the professional aspects of the career they are in or intend to be.  The present paper offers model syllabi for English for Engineers, Managers, Lawyers, Medical Professionals, Social Workers, Pharmacists and Architects.

VOICES AND SYMBOLS IN REBECCA CURTIS’ “HANSA AND GRETYL AND PIECE OF SHIT”

ABSTRACT

In a depressing and derailing environment, Rebecca Curtis’ short story “Hansa and Gretyl and Piece of Shit” introduces Gretyl , a girl coming from a middle class society. She is  suffering from stomach ache , cramps , poor health and her  mother , a typical , hysteric  housewife is presented to be immersed  in materialism . Mother’s desire sticks to jewelries and adulthood picnic, which develops into an irresponsible attitude towards girl children. It is soon realized with the introduction of Hansa , Gretyl’s elder sister and a Piece of Shit , pathetic to hear , sad to find as the name of a girl , who is middle among three sisters. Aspiring respiratory lurching dog like men Ogre haunt the  dreams and nightmare of Gretyl .Her conversation and talk with her companion- a cat , suffocates the psyche of a reader to turn up pages in order to find what is  happening  it all ,in a house of puzzling wizard. Marred with poor quality nutrition , problems of constipation , worms in stomach , voices of menstruation towards low spirited adulthood diseases ;  appendicitis , school dropping , telynol ,  betricide , urge for medicines, urge for a specialist and a doctor, crisis in relationship , girlhood, aging  womanhood all have been boisterously knocked, exaggerated and drained badly to find warm blankets of pee , foul smell , farts , weaknesses and almost bleeding and dying heartbeats.

USER SATISFACTION ON ELECTRONIC RESOURCES AND SERVICES: A STUDY AMONG THE FACULTY MEMBERS OF THIRUVALLUVAR UNIVERSITY AFFILIATED COLLEGES, TAMIL NADU

ABSTRACT

Electronic resources in this digital environment plays predominant role when comparing with printed resources. The electronic resources are cost effective and can be accessed across the globe by any number of users at any time. Libraries of today are spending sizable portion of their budget towards subscription of electronic resources and it is the job of the librarians to ensure whether the resources are accessed properly. In order to find out to know the purpose of using the electronic resources and what extend the respondents were satisfied with electronic sources and services, the study has been conducted among the faculty members working in affiliated colleges of Thiruvalluvar University, Vellore, Tamil Nadu. The findings and suggestions derived from the study will enable the administrators to ensure the use of electronic resources by applying appropriate measures.

According to current trends in India, the number of internet users is expanding. As a result, this is a critical chance for SMEs to take steps toward digital marketing and increase sales.

CREATIVE WRITING AND THE STYLE OF EXPRESSION

ABSTRACT

Style is the manner of linguistic expression. It is how a speaker or writer says whatever he wants to say/convey. Needless to say the expression of thematic content and its effectiveness depends to a great extent on the manner in which it is written or said. That is why a discourse or a piece of prose or poetry, for instance, echoes years after we had heard or read it. It is the style of expression which makes us remark that William Shakespeare or EM Forster or Wordsworth left indelible marks on human mind through their writing. The present article thus attempts to analyze the role and place of ‘the style of expression’ in creative writing; for, it is through such a critical evaluation, we can assert as to how far a writer has been successful in conveying the message or entertaining the readers.

MODULAR FURNITURE IN INTERIOR

ABSTRACT

The design model of Re-coding Homes is an attempt to shape living environments in relation to the needs of different types of users living in a specific place. Therefore in this research the concept of Mass Customization is handled in the scale of an all-inclusive living environment that change with their everyday life and activities requiring different interior layouts. Aims to present the modular and flexible furniture solutions created through the research project “Re-Coding Homes”.  Re-Coding Homes is based on creating interior design proposals by generating numerous furniture layouts with components especially designed to come together in different ways and configurations for standardized mass housing interiors.

ARCHITECTURE OF INDIAN CITIES- KOLHAPUR- ROOTS OF HERITAGE

ABSTRACT

In today's urban environment high rise buildings, parking areas, network of roads have acquired major urban land. In such congested environment rooftop and terrace of buildings provide a valuable potential source of outdoor space accessible to users of building. (A. Patel, R. Yadav, B. Singh,2019)The purpose of this study is to give an insight into what motivates middle-class citizens to engage in gardening. The Indian middle classes are described as well educated with busy, stressful lives and with a high resource use due to consumption, however, also with increasing awareness and practices of pro-environmental behaviour. (Mathur 2010) Balcony and terrace gardens give pleasure to city dwellers and provide an opportunity for enhancing creativity as well psychological benefits. In addition, they change the visual appearance of the building, screening from neighbors, and conceal unwanted pipeline and unappealing scenery (Green,2004).  The findings of this article are based on literature review. The study concludes that, regardless of the type of home, both Individual house and apartment respondents prefer a terrace Gardening for the purpose of relaxation and decreases recorded in global Warming is the greatest benefit.

A STUDY ON DESIGN OF NURSERY SCHOOLS

ABSTRACT

The physical measurements were taken of the nursery school it was useful for redesigning The findings of the study revealed that the maximum parents check that type of curriculum, fees, near to your residence, good reputation, teachers teaching, locality of the school, active participation, good infrastructure activities and facilities provided. The study also revealed that maximum all schools had a specific criterion for teachers while applying for the job. The study also revealed that total area, the arrangement, principal cabin, the administration office, the staffroom, the classroom, the activity area and play area should be re-designed according standard measurements. Based on the findings of the study it is recommended that the nursery school authority should also keep in mind the school infrastructure should be maintained regularly and provide maximum facility to students, parents, and peon and teaches
