The topic - History in Shakespeare's Richard
II appears a deliberately ambiguous one as it can have two possible interpretations.
It could mean the depiction of history by Shakespeare in his play - Richard II
OR it could mean a sense of history as revealed by Shakespeare's play Richard
II. I am dealing with the former and my primary concern is to analyze the way
Shakespeare has handled history in his play - Richard II. The reason why
Shakespeare chose such a topic for his play is not quite difficult to grasp
while watching a history play like Richard II, the audience is reminded that
what they are watching on stage, is the re-enactment of a historical moment
that passed many years ago, and survives for them only in the form of oral
tradition & historical records. Allusions within the context of a history
play to the existence of that record creates an illusion of presence: by
invoking the audience's present, stepping out of their historical situations to
meet the audience in a neutral one where all time is eternally present. A major
attraction that draws an audience to a history play is the desire for just an
experience of presence. History plays like Edward II were already rousing
immense enthusiasm because of the fervour of Armada patriotism. The English
audience was basking in the glory of the defeat of the Spanish Armada &
they wanted to celebrate their victory by re-enacting the glorious English
past. Shakespeare knew what his audience wanted, and he gave them precisely the
same thing by means of his play - Richard II.

Environment and Human Existence these two
terms co-exist since the origin of the universe. Both are inseparable. That is
why a moderate balance between them is highly required for human welfare. The
Purity of the environment determines the
purity of human affairs and thoughts. Because all the latent potentialities
lying inside the human beings can be well developed in appropriate proportion
in the lap of environment free from all sorts of pollutions. Environment
confers us existence, fosters us affectionately, and allow to perform all human
activities without releasing any protest. The word environment covers whole
universe with all phenomenon happening in land, sky and ocean. Hence, we should
not allow our activities to disturb its magnificence and purity. But
consciously and unconsciously we are badly wrecking the balance of the
environment only for getting more and more commodities to fulfill our need and
greed. Especially eco-system and biodiversity are shaken mercilessly. Being
sensible and educated persons we can imagine horrible impact of disturbance and
disbalance in eco- system and biodiversity. In such state we should discharge
our onus sincerely towards the environment because how one can decimate the foundation
of our life.

The Govt. of India (GoI) with strong and clear vision of future
India, has opened-up all sectors of Indian market with an eye on boosting the
Indian economy, employment revenues and competition. The GoI has ambiguous
plans and incentives to attract overseas investors. FDI’s are permitted through
techno-commercial tie-ups, private equity or preferential allotments, by way of
capital markets through Euro issues, prominent sectors viz :- Defense,
Railways, Mining and Nuclear sectors of India have not been permitted. Most
developing countries today consider FDI is an important channel for obtaining
access to resources for development and India is no exception to that. It is
however difficult to measure precisely the economic effects of FDI. In other
terms, it can be a sources for accruing external finances and is the key
component of national development strategies. FDI’s can be considered to be the
most attractive type of capital flow for emerging economics as it can bring
updated technologies and enhance production capacities for the economy.

Confessional
poetry is an expression of thoughts and words in which emotion spontaneously
embodies itself. In modern poetry, the
form of words and the execution of language play an important role and stand
over and above the emotional expression of individual experience. Shelley’s
definition of poetry that as the expression of imagination would be considered
inadequate by modern poets, because poetry in the modern world is not only
concerned with the poets’ thoughts, emotions, sufferings, joys and revelations
of self but also with the ability to observe and apprehend experiences in a
dramatic form and to manipulate language to express them adequately. Form and
content, thus become independent and constitute an indivisible core of the
poet’s art.
