IMPORTANCE OF ICT IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE LEARNING AND TEACHING

MARUF QUADARI

ABSTRACT

The effect of ICT for teaching and learning process has become relevant as it facilitates teaching and learning process, create helpful learning environment, and help learners develop creative thinking and self-confidence. This paper focuses on the importance of ICT in schools by students and teachers to support the processes of learning and teaching. It describes the ways in which teachers should facilitate student use of computer systems and how they can progress. The use of information and communication technology in schools is taken very seriously by governments and educational systems around the world as it provides access to a variety of information sources, forms and types; help in the preparation of reports and the organization of events; helps to put down the barriers between information held on several systems, thus creating a borderless communication and information environment by allowing users to access different database, thus having access to millions of information at their fingertips. This paper thus suggests that effective introduction of ICT in the teaching and learning process is an indispensable means of improving it.

DR. A. V. KARABASANAGOUDRA

ABSTRACT

In this paper an attempt has been made to compare the scores of Total Quality Management and Job Satisfaction of male and female Teacher Educators working in selected B.Ed. Colleges of Belagavi district. The sample of the study were drawn by using stratified random sampling technique. The data were collected using Job Satisfaction Scale constructed and standardized by Dr.Amar Singh and Dr.T.R.Sharma (1999) and Survey Instrument to Measure Total Quality Management constructed and standardized by Bonstingle (1992). The collected data were analyzed by using inferential statistics. From the results it was clear that, Gender does not influence the scores of Total Quality Management and Job Satisfaction of Teacher Educators of B.Ed. colleges.

BIO-INSPIRED COMPUTING AS OPTIMIZATION TECHNIQUE USING ANT COLONY OPTIMIZATION

PRIYA GODBOLE & SNEHAL DONGARE

ABSTRACT

Nature is the most intelligent entity and its techniques and methods for solving most complex problems are extremely massive, amazing and beyond our imagination. Researchers have inspired to imitate nature to solve hard and complex problems in computer sciences as well. Many optimization techniques and problem-solving methodologies have been taken inspiration from natural processes and come up with great natural solution. From ancient times, nature itself considered as a supreme source of motivation for mankind; so it was very common for mankind to turn to nature for answers when faced with challenges. This paper proposes how ant colony optimization (ACO) algorithm can be used for solving optimization problems and how it can be improved to solve routing problems.

Keywords: Ant Colony Optimization(ACO), pheromone, foraging, Travelling salesman problem(TSP), Dijkshtra algorithm, network routing, ACO routing algorithm

THEORETICAL MODELLING OF FOG COMPUTING IN IOT APPLICATIONS

PRIYANKA N. CHANDAWAR

ABSTRACT

The exposure of Internet of Things has permitted the interconnection and communication among large world things, that results in Data Explosions (associate unwanted generation of big and heterogeneous quantity of knowledge, referred to as information explosions.) On the opposite hand, the classic centralized cloudcomputing paradigm faces many challenges like high latency, low capability and network failure. Therefore, a new computing paradigm, referred to as fog computing, has been projected as a complement to the cloud answer. Fog computing extends the cloud services to the edge of network, and makes computation, communication and storage nearer to edge devices and end-users. In this paper, we will overview and summarize fog computing model architecture, key technologies, applications and challenges. Firstly, we will present the hierarchical architecture of fog computing and its characteristics, and compare it with cloud computing and edge computing to stress the similarities and variations. This paper provides a summary of the combination of fog computing with the IoT; this involves associate investigation of the fog progressive, characteristics and edges. The combination of the IoT with fog computing is additionally mentioned by highlighting the integration benefits, rising IoT applications and challenges encountered.

A HISTORICAL STUDY OF DALIT CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY

VISHWAS GORAKHNATH VALVI

ABSTRACT

Theology, as has been seen, is not a product of God, but study about God by human beings, who reflect upon and interpret God’s words based on the context from which they hail and the context to which they primarily prefer to respond. Conventionally, theology has originated mainly from the sources of scripture, tradition and reason which, in course of time, has extended to culture and life-experience of people. The formed practice of theology largely remains in the domain of elites and its responsibility is regarded mainly as being for the three main areas of academy, church and society.Considering these parameters for theology, Dalit Theology, as described, has been created by Dalit theologians who hailed from caste oppressed life situations. They countered Indian Christian theology for its westernised thought forms and Brahmanic insights and therefore sourced Dalit Theology from the life experiences of Dalits, the caste-victimised people. The major aim of Dalit Theology is to sharpen the theologically oriented faith perspectives of Dalits to challenge caste and transform society, both for Dalits and non-Dalits to live in God’s image and in peace.
